Technology has always been the tool, never the point. The point is helping people accomplish something difficult - whether the mission is training soldiers, running a business, serving a community or turning an idea into a working product.
The Story
For more than two decades, I have worked at the intersection of mission, technology and leadership. My career has included supporting Army unmanned-aircraft and training programs, serious games and interactive training, program management, business operations, and the design of custom digital systems.
Today, I serve in technology leadership while building RedSix Interactive - a place where we take the same mission-first mindset and apply it to businesses, organizations and new product ideas.
That means websites when a website is the right answer. It also means custom software, operating systems, analytics, automation and AI when the problem demands more.
Outside the screen, my priorities are simpler: faith, family and service. I am active in my church and community, and I believe the best technology should make people more capable - not make the technology itself the center of attention.
