YELLOWHAMMER
ROOFING.

It started as a website rebuild. It became an operating system. A public growth platform backed by YHOS - connecting content, SEO, storm intelligence, analytics, lead intelligence and reputation management.

THE MISSION

BUILD THE FRONT.
ENGINEER THE BACK.

Yellowhammer needed more than a visual refresh. The public site had to become a scalable growth platform for services, city pages, storm-driven demand and lead capture - while the team behind it needed a centralized operating layer for analytics, content, reputation and future automation.

The Objective

Phase 1 established the public-facing foundation: a modern homepage, service and city landing pages, Storm Center, resources, project gallery, review engine and lead forms. The goal was simple: build a site capable of generating demand and expanding with the business.

The Starting Point

The project quickly exposed a larger opportunity. Content, SEO, leads, reviews, weather intelligence and performance data should not live as disconnected tools.

01Public content needed a scalable structure for services, cities, projects and resources.
02Storm-driven roofing demand called for a dedicated weather and storm intelligence experience.
03Leadership needed visibility into traffic, leads, reputation and marketing performance.
04The system needed room to evolve into CRM, AI and automation instead of ending at launch.
THE ARCHITECTURE

ONE PLATFORM.
ONE SOURCE OF TRUTH.

The architecture evolved around a public experience in front and YHOS behind it. Hover or tap the nodes to see how each subsystem connects to the operating layer.

THE BUILD

FROM WEBSITE
TO PLATFORM.

The engagement expanded in layers. Select a phase to change the live system monitor and follow how the platform evolved.

PHASE 01 // PUBLIC EXPERIENCE

Market-Facing Foundation

Homepage, service pages, city landing pages, Storm Center, resources, project gallery, lead forms and technical SEO created the front-end foundation for growth.

PHASE 02 // YHOS

Command Center

The project moved beyond admin pages into a centralized operating layer for analytics, leads, content, reputation, SEO and storm intelligence.

PHASE 03 // SEARCH INTELLIGENCE

SEO Command

Managed pages, scan workflows, redirects and issue tracking created a repeatable system for improving and expanding the public footprint.

PHASE 04 // REPUTATION

Google + Review Workflow

Google Business Profile synchronization, review metrics, response workflow and AI-assisted reply capability turned reputation into an operating function.

PHASE 05 // EXTENSIBILITY

Built To Keep Evolving

The platform architecture established the database, role-based administration, API framework and AI integration foundation for future CRM and automation.

PHASE 01 // PUBLIC EXPERIENCE

Market-Facing Foundation

The visible experience was engineered first, but the architecture was designed so the site could become the front door to a much larger system.

PROBLEMS SOLVED

THE BUILD
FOUGHT BACK.

Real systems do not arrive perfectly formed. Integration limits, sync failures, content edge cases and changing operational requirements became part of the engineering story.

Problem: Google Business Profile access, token refresh and review synchronization required multiple rounds of connection and recovery work.

Change: We built authorization, profile discovery, review sync, reconnect handling and customer-response workflows directly into YHOS.

Outcome: Reputation management became part of the operating system instead of a separate manual task.
Problem: Weather statements and bulletins could exceed the original content assumptions, producing incomplete display and archive issues.

Change: Data handling and presentation were revised, then the Storm Center UI moved toward modal and scrollable patterns better suited for long alerts.

Outcome: The experience could preserve complete weather intelligence without breaking the page.
Problem: Growth meant new markets, city pages, localized phone routing and clean URL structures had to be added without turning the site into a maintenance burden.

Change: We built repeatable city/service-area patterns, slug handling and localized content logic.

Outcome: The public platform could expand geographically without redesigning the entire site each time.
Problem: As the project grew, continuing to add disconnected admin tools would create the same fragmentation the new platform was supposed to remove.

Change: YHOS was treated as a command center - one login, one database and a shared operating model across marketing, content, analytics, reputation and storm intelligence.

Outcome: The project gained a foundation capable of supporting future CRM, operations and automation.

TWO SIDES OF THE SYSTEM

WHAT PEOPLE SEE.
WHAT MAKES IT WORK.

Switch between the public experience and the operating layer. The website is the customer-facing surface. YHOS is the infrastructure that gives the organization control behind it.
